The Next Generation of Storytellers
The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) is a free public high school serving students all across Los Angeles County. Admission to LACHSA is based on a competitive application process including either an audition or portfolio review. LACHSA has an impressive Cinematic Arts Department, in which every afternoon students take in-depth courses ranging from theory to practical hands on training using industry-standard state-of-the-art equipment. Over the course of four years, students work in every capacity (pre-production, production, post-production) on dozens of short student films.
